Chocolate Coconut Bars Recipe

This recipe for chocolate coconut bars will satisfy your sweet craving.For those of you that love the combination of chocolate with coconut, you will enjoy this bar.


3 1/2 cups ground graham crackers
1/4 cup sugar
1 cup (2 sticks) unsalted butter, melted
3/4 cup chopped pecan pieces
1 1/2 cup chocolate chips
1 can (14 ounces) sweetened condensed milk
1 1/2 cups shredded coconut


Preheat oven to 375 degrees F

Line a 9×13 pan with waxed paper, and spray with nonstick spray.

Stir together graham cracker crumbs, sugar and butter in a large bowl.

Evenly press graham cracker mixture into the bottom of the 9×13 pan.

Bake for 10 minutes, rotating after 5.

Cool on a wire rack for 20 minutes.

Sprinkle chocolate chips, and pecans over the crust.

Pour condensed milk over the top, tilt the pan from side to side to spread it to all corners.

Sprinkle the top with coconut.

Sprinkle with a few more chocolate and butterscotch chips.

Bake for about 15 minutes, until coconut is browned slightly.

Cool completely on a wire rack.

Remove using waxed paper, and cut into bars
